Nominate a deserving Clermont County officer If you know an officer who deserves recognition, please take the time to nominate them for a Law Enforcement Appreciation Award! Nominations due by April 4.
In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15th as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15th falls, as National Police Week. Established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962, National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.
Returning for the 42nd year, the Clermont Chamber of Commerce Foundation has partnered with law enforcement agencies to recognize the outstanding efforts of officers in the field that are not always publicized.
A variety of awards will be presented to selected officers and citizens for their exceptional service and dedication to the Clermont County community. This special event also raises thousands of dollars for the University of Cincinnati Clermont College Law Enforcement Scholarship. For scholarship donation requests, please contact Sarah Nourse.
We invite you join us in this endeavor by becoming a sponsor of the event; with your support, we are able to invite officers to attend at no charge.
