Workplace culture and employee engagement are often discussed, but many organizations struggle to translate these concepts into practical actions. In this session, participants will explore how culture and engagement are shaped through everyday decisions, leadership behaviors, and workplace systems.

Using a design thinking approach, this interactive session will help business leaders identify what is currently influencing their workplace culture and learn practical ways to intentionally design environments where employees feel connected, valued, and motivated to contribute.

Participants will leave with simple tools and frameworks they can use immediately to strengthen engagement, improve communication, and build a culture that supports both employee experience and business success.

Participants will learn how to:

• Understand the connection between workplace culture and employee engagement and how leadership behaviors and systems influence both.
• Identify practical ways to assess and improve culture using employee feedback and observation of workplace behaviors.
• Apply a simple design thinking framework to create small, intentional changes that strengthen engagement within their teams.

ABOUT THE BUSINESS EDUCATION SERIES
The Clermont Classroom: Business Education Series is a multi-session professional development program created by the Clermont Chamber of Commerce to equip business owners, leaders, and team members with the knowledge and tools needed to grow strong, successful organizations.

Each 90-minute class focuses on a critical area of business success—such as leadership, communication, HR, sales, marketing, finance, and emerging technologies like AI. Sessions are led by experienced professionals and designed to deliver practical, immediately applicable strategies.

Participants may register for individual classes or enroll in the full 8-class series for a comprehensive learning experience that supports personal growth, team development, and long-term business success.
