Union Township, Clermont County Ohio (June 25, 2026) – The Clermont Chamber of Commerce Foundation is proud to announce Alida Hart, former President and CEO of IPM Food Pantry, as the 2026 recipient of the LEAD From the Heart Award, the highest honor bestowed upon a graduate of the LEAD Clermont Community Leadership Program.

Hart, a graduate of the LEAD Clermont Class of 2021, is the third recipient of the annual award, which recognizes alumni whose legacy of service, leadership, mentorship, and civic engagement exemplifies the mission and spirit of LEAD Clermont. Established in 2024, the award was first presented to longtime LEAD Clermont Program Director Bob Pautke.

During her tenure as President and CEO of IPM Food Pantry, Hart led the organization through transformational growth, including a successful $5 million capital campaign and the opening of a new 12,000-square-foot Food Pantry and Distribution Center in 2023. Under her leadership, annual food distribution more than doubled, expanding access to nutritious food for families throughout Clermont County and neighboring Appalachian communities. She also championed innovative programs such as Fresh Start Kitchen and established a network of more than 50 Food Resource Hub partners to broaden community food access.

Even in retirement, Hart remains deeply committed to serving the community through volunteer leadership and board service with several nonprofit organizations. Her compassionate leadership, commitment to collaboration, and dedication to helping others continue to create a lasting impact throughout Clermont County and embody the spirit of the LEAD From the Heart Award.

Alida will be formally recognized at the LEADing Together: Alumni & New Class Luncheon on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Christian Church. Alumni, supporters, and community members are encouraged to attend this special celebration. Tickets on sale now here.
