Harmony Hill Museum Participating in Ohio Open Doors

Williamsburg, OH – Harmony Hill Museum will take part in Ohio Open Doors on Saturday, September 19th from 10 AM – 4 PM , as historic buildings and fascinating museums across the state open their doors for special tours and events as part of the Ohio History Connections biennial event. 

Admission to all Ohio Open Doors events is free. 

“Ohio Open Doors shares stories of important landmarks and interesting sites right in our own backyards, highlighting the history and unique nature of some of Ohio’s most treasured places”, said Diana Welling, Director of the Ohio History Connection’s State Historic Preservation Office and State Historic Preservation Officer. 

Harmony Hill Museum will be celebrating Major General William Lytle, the Father of Clermont County and Williamsburg with a special Birthday Celebration.  From 10 AM – 2 PM the Grassy Run Reenactors, Pioneer Day hands on learning, expanded museum displays and more will take center stage.  You can churn butter, grind corn, and try your hand at various pioneer skills!   The Community Band will perform “Salute to America – 250” beginning at 2:30 PM. 

This family friendly event continues the America 250 celebrations in Clermont County.  Be sure to bring your Clermont County History and Museum Passport to obtain your stamp or pick one up at the event.
